The Silver Oak Home for Chronically Ill Children

Nova Dumont has visited nearly every hospital in the country — not that she’s proud of it. Episodes of unending, mysterious pain have torn her body apart, pushing her toward doctor after doctor in search of answers. But when nobody is able to properly diagnose her, Nova receives an invitation to attend the Silver Oak Home for Chronically Ill Children. When she arrives, she isn’t surprised to see the sterile medical facilities, stuffy professors, and the other sick kids.
